Whatever happened to leftovers? Do you eat them or is once enough?

So tonight was leftover night and everyone was upset that I didn't cook a meal. So we had 3 days worth of leftovers and there was I think plenty to eat and choose from. I remember growing up, I was ok with leftovers, my parents worked and I was just happy to eat. Does it have to be something new everyday? I just feel it is a waste of food and that is so expensive right now. I try to turn them into something new if I can but sometimes it can't be...sometimes meat loaf just has to be meat loaf! Do you eat leftovers or is once all you can handle?

Oh yes, I can eat leftovers and have no problem doing so. I can eat leftover for breakfast. My husband is rather picky, he has to have breakfast food for breakfast. I have no problem getting a cold piece of chicken out the frig and eating it for breakfast. Actually I think leftovers taste better than the day they were cooked.

Hurray for leftovers! Maybe they will make a comeback with food prices so high. We are so wasteful!

I will ocassionally have them for breakfast if there is a little bit leftover but not enough for lunch or dinner.

I like left overs. It save having to cook sometimes. I fix enough to have left overs on purpose. I like to warm up left over meat loaf and make a hot meat loaf sandwich with left over mashed over potatoes. I fix enough mashed potatoes so i can have some left over but for some reason my grandson will finish them off so no left over potatoes.

I will usually throw any meatloaf in with any pasta that I cook! it makes a nice easy meal. I never seem to have any leftover mashed potatos. I got a hankering for meatloaf now :)

I often incorporate leftovers into my meal planning. We will eat them for lunch or have it for another meal entirely. If they don't want them, they don't need to eat them however they won't get anything else to eat.

I cook enough for maybe one or two meals. So once is truely enough for me and my husband. He never likes to leave leftovers behind in the fridge. Its either finish or throw away. I now understand his concept, just for more room in the fridge for us.

Well, first of all, tehre is no such thing as left overs in my house, lol. Before the day is gone, so is the food. However, if tehre were left overs, unless it is something I REALLY enjoy, I'd rather not have them.
