I felt bad yesterday. All my efforts were wasted. I tried to create a surprise for my boyfriend by buying a gift and make him a romantic dinner. But this was ended up he needed to work over time and came home late. I waited him until 12am. I felt so upset and disappointed. I will not do the same thing again,it's wasting my time and energy. I hate the results,sigh.....What do you think? Please share.

I think it was a good process since you spent a lot of time and energy to make it perfect. although it did not have a very good ending, you had proved your love from deeply inside. so you need not feel so upset.

Oh yenwie, I am sorry you were so disappointed, but sometimes work happens. Please do not be discouraged by this... Were you able to share the surprise the next day? Even if the food went bad, the candles melted.. th thought and consideration will last forever in your hearts! Please do not feel it is wasted energy, it is not.. how do you watse love? I don't know how, nor have ever met anyone who knew how, or wanted to.. ask anyone.. I know I am right! Good luck sweets!

Its allright your boyfriend must understand. If my girlfriend did tat i would rather give her a massage on her shoulders and make some coffee for her coz nothing more is important other than her. I know she would be tired and i wont party on this time i would just take care of her.!

Aww..I'd feel the same way to. But as long as he's working it's not so bad. He wants to keep the money coming in. I think as long as he recognizes your efforts and appreciates it then that counts doesn't it?..
