Hi, I know and understand that many of us here comes from different religion and beliefs, while few others doesnt believe in the existence of God at all. What I just wanted to know from you guys, if you are to rate 1-10 and the highest is 1. How would you rate your relationship with your GOD? 2. How would you describe your faith in Him in terms of your daily. 3. Do you think He done something in your life ? Care to share. Note : This is a free discussion, again I would'nt mind on whatever religion you are in, just wanna know.

My life is GOD's gift & I think if I can do something for others it will my gift to GOD. My whole life is for God. He is walking & will walk with me all the way of my life. I will never say 'O God, I have a problem,' But I will always say 'O problem, I have a big GOD, who will solve all the peoblems.' Now I can only say, Happy moments, praise GOD. Difficult moments, seek GOD. Quiet moments, worship GOD. Painful moments, trust GOD. Every moment, thank GOD.

God is MY ALL. Even if all else fail, I will still choose to believe in Him. I'd been to so many tough situations and I'm proud to say that in all of those, God is with me. He's worth all the praise.

I have a close relationship with God, and I have faith in HIM but my faith is not as strong as it should be because I feel that with circumstances being what they are, maybe HE has a hard time doing it. I think that once we became mortal, that certain things need very extensive prayers to get done and I am not that good of a person, yet I trust that if I keep up, my prayers will be answered. HE has led me to the true church and I am now in fellowship with other believers and given me the talents of writing and singing.

Thank you. I did not know how I got them. None of my family were good at writing, and only my mother could sing. My father and mother both liked operatas, especially Geshwin. But my dad could not write that good. They made him change to right handed. He was born left handed.

I'll answer the questions but I won't follow your format. My relationship with my God is something that I value more than with my own family. It overlooks things like reading the bible, praying everyday and attending assemblies. I don't do those things to make myself a part of cultured Christianity. I study my bible because I crave for knowing my God, I do make communications with Him because I long for His presence and I do attend church assemblies because I want to see Him in light of the brethren. In regard of my faith, I see to it that it is manifested everyday, but I don't force myself. I believe that faith is grace itself. It was never my intention to believe, but was made to believe in order to satisfy God's pleasure. I believe as well that how I live is just a piece of what my faith is all about. Most might say, it's about your lifestyle. Yes... and no. Yes because lifestyle is a part of checking one's faith and no because how we live is not the central issue of Christendom. And lastly, what He did to me was He changed my view of life. I used to live in accordance with the standard set by the confessional church, but changed my sight. He made me look further from what the church had set. Now, despite of what they may say about me, yes I care a bit, for their faith but not for me, knowing that the picture is much larger than how we really see it. I just hope I made sense.. .^_^ :)

The answer to the first two is one. He has done lots to me in Life, some of it was even good He did bless me with the opportunity to raise five children even though I didn't want any kids. And, along with those kids, He blessed me with two wonderful wives, so I cannot complain

Are you saying that you are living with two wives? I don't intend to offend you sir. I'm just curious. In our culture, it's not accepted but may in yours it is. I just want to know.

Two wives at the same time? No thank you! I had a wife but she divorced me after twenty plus years. A few years later I got a new wife It is not accepted in my culture to have 2 at the same time and it also is against the law. I am not offended

My relationship with God is the most important thing in my life. I would not have direction without Him. I start my day by reading the Bible to remind myself to always seek Him and to further my faith. I try in my daily life to help people, seek Gods help when I am troubled or have to make decisions. I try to live so that people will benefit from my actions and words. God has done miraculous things in my life. I am a new person since I've come to know Him. From little things like not yelling at my kids when they were young to praying for work to continue our business. Ask and it shall be given... One time I was short on cash and had to make a payroll. I prayed for it and got a direct deposit the next day. I was shocked when I saw my checking account balance. After researching, I found one of our contractors paid by mistake for a job that was not yet complete. Of course I informed them of the situation and they said it was no problem as the job was almost complete anyway.

God has done amazing things in our lives, and this situation is just one of them, it wouldnt be necessarily successful one or things like that we can account for, but for those who love Him we know that He who started a good work will accomplish it in His time and purpose. Thanks redkathy for your wonderful input, continue in the faith !

my responses to your questions are as follows: 1. How would you rate your relationship with your GOD? I would say 8. I have a firm faith in my Lord Jesus Christ and know that He has saved me and that eternal life is something that cannot be taken away from the elect. 2. How would you describe your faith in Him in terms of your daily life. I would say I live in consciousness of my faith in Christ, and try my best to live my life according to His will and to glorify Him and to be constantly aware that there is a spiritual aspect to life here on earth. 3. Do you think He done something in your life? Yes definitely. He has changed me since I became a believer, and helped me to be more patient, less bitter, and know that i have a purpose and value beyond what the world sees and says.

It is God who draws to us, not a depraved sinner like ourselves who draw near to Him, He is more pleased when we show our faith and love to Him as we live our lives, may this be a pleasant savor to His sight.

dec. 2012 ? I don't know about that, anyway, whatever time would the 'end of the world' be if you have a good relationship with God, God will save you. Thanks for the response.

To be honest with you I have come across this discussion five days ago when it was first posted but I felt that I did not have an answer to your discussion. I would like to answer your discussion now, and although my responses may be brief i promise you that I am a very faithful person. 1. I would rate my relationship with god as being an average five. I love him, and I cherish his wisdom and love to read his scripture. However, I do not feel that I am as close as some other people may be. I am a christian. 2. I have faith that he is watching over me and that all I must do is believe in him, and he is there. 3. Yes I think that he has awakened in me a new hope and love for people. One that I can not explain but is there none the less.

My relationship with GOD transcends ratings, levels or scores of whatever kind. My faith in HIM knows no boundaries nor walls. Life may be a struggle to many of us, but for me the struggle is a reminder that GOD is a loving father who will guide me and will never forsake me in my resolve to carry on.

Actually I am getting ready for church now. I think I have a pretty good relationship with God, of course that is something you always have to work on. I am in a rather depressing situation at this time, and it is only my faith in God, that makes me know that He will work it out. Oh yes, he had done great things in my life. I was diagnoised with MS at the age of 18, told by the doctor's that I would be wheelchair bound in fifteen years. Fifteen years has passed and I am fine, he was my doctor and healed my body. I am now in a financial crisis, I lost my job one and a half month ago, but God has blessed me so that I am still able to pay my rent. My mother was diagnoised with cancer nine years ago, she is doing very well years later. God is awesome, and without Him in my life I guess I would be lost.

I was born and raised a Catholic, but the thing is, I consider myself as a lapsed Catholic, and I treat the Catholic practices with a little disdain. In my own opinion, its a matter of a personal relationship with God that doesn't need or require all the pomp and ceremony of the Church. What matters is I do. I see God more as a divine being who guides but doesn't do the work for you. Secondly, I don't go around saying that its God's will or whatever.

Religion to me doesnt matter, what matters is your faith. Thanks for your thoughts.

What disturbs the average person and hinders their belief in God is the seeming contradiction that if God is good and loving, why does he allow suffering ? Yet creation tells us that there must be something out there that has created the universe and life on earth. In the United States there is now a movement of doctors, lawyers and scientists that have come to the conclusion that the complexity of the human body could not have happened by chance. The big bang theory claims that an destructive force created order. This is impossible and irrational. So we therefore must conclude that either God does not care about us, or there is a reason for him to allow mankind to stumble along in its futility. What do you think?
