Is Popcorn concidered a bread?

i was just wondering this since i am trying to cut back on my carbs. but what catigory does popcorn fall under? is it a vegatable since it is made from corn? or is it bread because of the way it is made? any one out here in the world of mylot know?

I'm not really sure what catergory it falls under but I'm sure it's not bread. Unfortunatly if your on a low carb diet popcorn is not something you should eat. I know most low carber's avoid it. It's about 6 grams of carbs a cup.
