My family is visiting me tommorrow! I was tired today. Did some general cleaning

My sister and I just got done doing some major cleaning as my boyfriend and his parents are coming over in a little bit. We always do a major sweep of cleaning when we are about to have guests, especially our own parents. My mom is a neat freak and like you said, I want to show my parents that I am capable of living on my own and keeping my apartment looking nice. In between the weeks of having visitors we usually just upkeep the apartment, picking up after we are done doing something in some part of the apartment. The kitchen is probably the cleanest place in our apartment as we are always cooking in there and when we get done we like to clean up right away so it's not sitting there till the next day. I try to keep my bathroom clean as well but it doesn't always get cleaned as often as it should. I finally swiffered the floor in there today and I couldn't believe how much dust and dog hair I was able to pick up. Made me realize I should definitely try to clean at least the floor once a week versus every couple of weeks. You said you vacuumed your ceiling. I have never heard of anyone doing that before. What is the purpose and how exactly do you do it? LOL Sorry if that is a dumb question! Happy cleaning!!!

I generally keep my house clean. Have to do some toy pick up. MAybe some vacuuming. I like having a clean house. Makes me feel better. If family is coming I do more dusting than I normally would.
