Finally a real relationship and I'm happy at last!

After 2 weeks of dating...and OTHER THINGS 
I've found an awesome guy! We've known each other for about 7 years and just hooked up. I have to say he's the best guy I've ever been with and after at least 40 years I think that's saying something. I've never been treated so good and I've been married two times plus have been in some horrible relationships in my life. My kids are thrilled and love him as much as I do.
So you think us "oldsters" can't find love huh? Not true....this has been the best 2 weeks of my life and I can tell it's going to last for the rest of it since we both feel the same way.
Do you know anyone who has waited until they were in their 60's for true love?

I don't think you are ever "too old" to find true love!
I remember when you were heartbroken about your ex. I am glad to also read that you were able to look past what you wanted to see in him and see the real man.
In doing so you were able to let go for good and move on.

Thinking back on how heart broken I was about the other guy I can't help but wonder what the heck I was thinking...obviously I wasn't thinking. There is such a big difference between the two of them. I am 100% happier now and loving life for a change.

I'm so happy for you!
My aunt had 2 bad marriages and mostly wound up raising 5 kids on her own. She wasn't in her 60's but was in her early 50's when she met and married her current husband. She went from working double shifts and living in run down rentals to owning their own business and home. She's happier than she's ever been and has the ability to do for her grandchildren what she could only dream of doing for her own children.
