The Olympics

Are you going to watch? I know I am. I normally try and watch all the events if I can but this year Im going to make sure I watch the FIBA. I like the NBA and I like seeing the other countries teams. I think the USA Mens team has I real good chance at winning the gold this year. I like the team they have put together. But I know that there are some good teams like Spain and Greece that will give them a hard time.
So what will you be watching?

I usually don't watch as I just never could really get into it. I guess that's partly because pretty much the only sport I enjoy watching (auto racing) is not an Olympic sport. I don't really know anything about the teams or the athletes/players, so I guess the best I can do is just hope my home team (USA!) does well, and I hope that everyone who plans on watching enjoys it!

I am also excited to see the REDEEM TEAM play. I think they have a good shot with the NBA players that decided to play. A few of my favorite things to watch are the gymnastics and track and field. But I am a softball player and coach, so that is by far my favorite to watch... especially since there will not be softball or baseball in the olympics in 2012. I have also met those girls, and they have done a marvelous job rallying support for themselves in Beijing! Go USA!
