Is mylot payment vital to anyone?

For me getting $10 from Mylot is nice. It helps me pay debt and its free to join and I like it here. However in some countries where the dollar is strong I wonder if many people, especially non American citizens, rely on Mylot to help pay the bills. I went to India a couple years ago and every dollar equaled 150 rupees or so. To make a phone call was 7 rupees. So I know that some people might be here earning money they desperately need which will translate back into big dollars in their home country. Not to out anyone as doing this but I am curious if anyone will admit to it.

There was a really good discussion going on wthin the past few days about how much people could buy with $10 US dollars. It was honestly shocking how much it means to some of the people here. One mention being able to buy 2 weeks of groceries! I'm from the US so it's just a little play money for me but it's serious money for others.

In theory I agree with you in as much as US$10 could buy allot more elsewhere than in the USA. I'm from Singapore and even with the US dollar in its current weak state, a single US dollar is worth 1.3 Singapore dollars and its worth more in other parts of the world. However, as much as its nice to think that the activities on mylot are helping make a major difference to other people in other parts of the world, the sad truth is it probably does not. OK, over here the cost of the internet is negligible as is the cost of electricity. However, in countries where the US$10 could really make a difference, the internet charges are really high and can be fairly putative. As such, I doubt the guys in places where US$10 are depending on Mylot to make a living. Having said all of that, I think its fairly profitable to spend a few moments of the day posting things on mylot. I think its a case of every dollar making a difference and in some parts of the world, the extra dollars really make a major difference. Although Americans seem to form the majority, I've noticed allot of people from India and the Philippines, countries where US$10 does go quite a long way when compared to in the USA or Europe. So, I believe that mylot payouts do make a major difference for some people, though its probably not as a great a differences as we might like it to.

I'm just repeating what people said on another discussion by people who live in other countries. If it's misleading information then it's on them for being misleading. None of them mentioned the cost of their electricity or internet access, the topic was simply how much food it could buy.

It isn't vital to me because there is little difference in the currency exchange rate between my country and USA. But it would be nice if I did get paid because there is something that I wish to buy online and I don't want to use the money I earned from my work. I participate here on mylot most of the time through my phone. I subscribed to a prepaid service but I never used all my credits before they expire. By participating in mylot using my phone, it is sort of a way to make good use of the credit by converting them to my earnings here in mylot. That way, none of my credits are wasted. Currently I do not have any referrals so the rate it is converted is about $0.50 phone credit for $0.20 mylot earnings. It is at a loss but is better than to let the credits expire and be reduced to 0.00.

more than two years ago, when i joined myLot, i did not know that they do pay for real. could be another scam forum site like others are. i just joined in, started typing discussions, started replying to others and started earning friends. i was just having so much fun that i get to spend 4 to five hours a day. sometimes, when you are having lots of fun, you don't know how much work you are doing already. first earning was 88 US dollars and a month after, i got 66 US dollars which really meant a lot for me. months after, i got busy with school and work, and earned just 30, sometimes 15, etc. anyway, any amount i earn here in myLot is still money and we all need extra money, right? so, aside from having fun, getting some new ideas and meeting new friends, i get to earn something in doing i enjoy doing.

I wanted some money in my paypal account so I could purchase something on the internet. I now have some dollars in my account and I hesitate to use it to make a purchase because I need to raise money for shipping and I am not sure if my own country will not charge exorbitant customs duties. Mylot allowed me to have dollars in my paypal account.

that's one cool thing, too. having money on your paypal account can give you the opportunity to order stuffs online. i do that sometimes, too. plus, the money i have in paypal can also be transfered to my bank account. it's really great.

to be honest, for me it is not because me and my hubby are still earning full time... but it is still feel nice to earn from here though as i treat it as an extra pocket money and emergency money... i know lots of people here are depending on the payment from here to pay for their bills etc... take care and have a nice day...

Here, $10 isn't much - my rent is $1000 per month, milk costs $3 for 4 litres, that sort of thing. But before my husband got his current job, every little bit helped, especially as we were trying to pay down debt. We are still trying to pay down debt, but making extra money isn't so urgent.

We have a new baby on the way. I am working from home. Not making as much as I used to working outside the home. So every penny helps. And with the American economy the way it is now, that mean alot.

it is not a great amount of money in my country but still not very bad also.. you can only buy 3 hamburgers with 10$ and nothing more... I am just trying to make some more money by signing up to some other sites and saving them for months. After all, my goal is to buy my favourite computer game for free. Free, I mean with the money I earned from the internet. I am currently a little far away from my goal but just looking forward to achieve it. For this reason I signed up for many websites and waiting to get paid from them. If I get paid out from the sites which I requested cashout, then I will be able to buy my game but if they act like a scam then it will stay as a dream to me, lol. I mean I will have to spend my real money to buy it :) My biggest problem is I can't stay active on several sites at the same time. I think it is something about my phsychology but after spending some time on one site, I just can't do the same for another even if I have some free time. I do something else instead. For this reason I haven't been able to be active on the sites I have signed up for, so it takes a while to reach payouts. Mylot is also one of them for me. Thank you very much for reading :) I wish you a good day and happy mylotting experience cripfemme!

No, the money I get from mylot is a very small amount on my country (England) as it converts to £5, which does not go very far. So I would not say it is vital, it is better than nothing though.

For me it is kinda vital because I have a terriblely unstable unrealiable job that it helps if I become short on money(as usual) and add some to my savings account.

HI cripfemme, I belong from India and talking about mylot's payment. Well, $10 is what I spend anytime I getout from even for a walk. Its not about vital, but its about an axtra income. It really doesn't matter if I don't get this payment from myLot. But getting paid is better than not getting paid. I am an internet surfer and most of the time I chat , visit websites etc. But when I come to know about myLot , I joined it. Now I am getting paid for what I like.

i think earning here would help anyone. and me earning ten dollars from time to time is great. it helps a student help their parents when it comes to money inflow. i get to buy stuff without asking for more cash from my folks. =)
