My son and daughter-in-law's anniversary is coming up on the 5th, but since they both work, we decided to go to Boston Pizza. It was our first time there, me and my husband and better than what they show on television (in the tv advertisement it looks so big and dark, but this was quite light and the service was good although slow. The guys had a chicken and rice dish, while my daughter-in-law and I had pizzas. And the baby had chicken fries and mashed potatoes. It was quite fun, I took some pictures of my precious little grand-daughter, and she was so happy, throwing things on the floor, and teasing us. She is now walking. I think that Boston Pizza might be one of the must goes in the future. So for those who had an anniversary, how did you spend it?

Our data prices are way too high here in Canada. So I just put them on my hard drive and then put them on Picasa and mail them the link.

It was fun. I took pictures of my granddaughter. Maybe I should take some more, but I am not use to the cellphone picture taking yet.

Today is my anniversary. I forgot about it until I read your discussion. I think we will do something over the weekend. Probably go out to eat and take my sonw ith us of course. Sounds like you had a nice time. We will probably do something informal.

When there is someone's birthday or anniversary, the people whose it is not treats them. It was our term, well my husband's because he has the money. Our other son was not there or he and my husband would see who gets whose credit card out first.

i've never been to Boston pizza, but I'd like to go, since they award airmiles. :) Our anniversary is coming up in 2 days on September 6th, and we're going to go out for breakfast with Mom and Dave to the restaurant where we got married, and then we are going to come back here and listen to the dedication that our friend is going to send out to us, on our favourite Croatian radio program.

I hope you really enjoyed it. Our friends are planning to go there with us since we now have the van and we will treat our sons and the grandkids as well (although I doubt little Landon is ready for pizza yet. ) That will probably sometime in the next year.

I have not been to Papa John's yet. I think there is one here in Winnipeg. I know there is one pizza place I do not like because the crust is too greasy. I do not care for Dominoes because it is too Americanized. But Boston Pizza is so good, and the crust not greasy, and the toppings are good and just the right size for a one person pizza. Thank you. We did like it.

I think it's great that your son and his wife celebrated their anniversary and congratulations to them! My ex and I were married for 19 years and never celebrated, he could never remember when it was and wasn't one to mark special occasions.

We always did something for our anniversary, even if it was just going out to eat because we could not afford anything. I guess I can understand why you got divorced. If you do not celebrate anything, then there is nothing to look forward to.
