My work is working as a telecommunications specialist at my counties Sheriff's Office. That means that I answer the 911 lines and I also dispatch calls to all my officers and keep track of them all. It can get VERY stressful at times but it is good work. You feel a special connection with everyone including other dispatchers and the officers on the road because you all go through the same things on a daily basis and the same stressful situations. When you are a dispatcher you are pretty much your officers lifeline so to speak and that's a big job to take on. I like my job for the most part but it's not what I want to do for the rest of my life. Right now I'm going back to school to get a degree in Forensics so I can become a Crime Lab Tech. That is my ultimate dream. I am happy right now though because I am getting experience within law enforcement and I'm already established in the field I have always wanted to be in.

I'm a uni student on my last year with 2 jobs. One is a casual Saturday job where I work on-course at a racecourse processing tickets for punters. The other job is a part-time working at Krispy Kreme on the week days. As you can see, both of these jobs are totally different and that's what I'm after in the weekly routine, variety. Good luck with your study!~ Cheers'
