What kind of career or job does your spouse have? Is it the type of job you thought the person you would marry would have? I always saw myself marrying someone who was working for a big corporation, behind the desk, name on the office door kind of job. I fell in love with a man that went into a blue collar trade right out of high school and is still in that trade 25 yrs later. I am not complaining, but its funny to think back to the type of person i thought i would fall in love with, and what i really fell in love with. How about you?

I am the same with you, my friend. When I was in high school, I never thought that I would marry a blue collar man. I am an educated woman who went to the university and my father is a professor. However, this is what God had planned for me and I accept it with my full heart. There are times when I felt life is so difficult, especially when financial matters is the main issue. But when I sit down alone and think hard, I discovered that I am one of the luckiest woman on earth because my husband loves me very, very, very, much. I know he will sacrifice his life for me. There are so many times when he rescued me from so many difficult situations. Now that our financial problem is not as difficult as before, I realize that we do not have any other problems. Now I am very happy, and I love my husband so much. I feel so lucky because I know there are so many women who married rich men but the men never loved their wives. Behind their wives' back the husbands played affairs with other women. Money is not everything, even though everything is money. I thank God because I am blessed with so much love from my husband, and love is wealthier than money, because money cannot buy love. Adios!

That is so awesome that you two still have such a strong love. I wouldnt say that i expected to marry a wealthy man, just one with a different type of job. The job hubby has, puts him with different companies all the time, he is with a union for the trade he is in but if one company doesnt have enough work or projects going, he has to move to another company, which is where some instability comes in. With a white collard job, it wouldnt be quite so instable, which is why i think i seen myself with a white collar man rather than a blue collar. I however, do love my hubby very much, and woulndt change a thing, I often feel tht the obstacles we have cuz of money, is Gods way of showing us that life doesnt have to be perfect, to be good.

I never thought about the type of career my husband would have, as long as he had a career. I could not marry someone who would become a freeloader. The funny thing is we do the same thing yet with two different companies. We are both manufacture and sales rep. We kept meeting at the same stories, then we started having lunch together, and then marriage.

Your husband must have loved his job and I am sure that he is one valuable employee for the company being there for 25 years. Well, mine works as a Business Communications Coordinator. He handles events for the company, its magazines and other fund raising project and all the things that needs to be communicated in the company- he works more on the technical side- that is his skill. I like his job, it suits him well, he has this passion for what he's doing. He looks so handsome when he is busy, his job gives me this urge of taking care of him since he is prone to stress and other frustration in relation to his work. I am so proud of all his accomplishment.
