I can't believe this myself but it really freaks me and my brother out. Our double decked bed is in front of our bathroom door in our room. And at night when we would go to sleep and the bathroom door's open. I either wake up at the middle of the night, have bad dreams or have a nightmare! I told my younger brother about this and he made a move. He made sure the bathroom door is closed at night and I have the rosaries and crucifixes beside me to try if this will put me to sleep adn guess what?! It worked. Though sometimes they still leave the bathroom door open and i suffer the same things again. What do you think about this things that's happening to me?

It might be a bad feng shui, if you believe it. But anyway why don't you change the position of your bed so that you will not be facing the toilet.

we don't really have time to put our bed in another position. we were also thinking of it but we lack time. i think it's a negative energy maybe because of that too. Bad feng shui. thanx for the tip.

do you feel anything aside from you having night mares? many people do not have third eyes but sometimes things are seen through dreams..do you feel something like you are not alone when inside the bathroom or a feeling that someone is watching you? ask also your family members if they are experiencing something odd when inside your bathroom..and try not think of something scary before sleeping or thinking of your bathroom before going to sleep it is your sub conscious working during sleep so you will really dream of terrifying things when you thought of it..

my brother doesn't feel anything odd. i don't know what to do about it but just continue what i do to at least stop it. to close the door always, have crucifixes and rosaries around me and pray before sleep. Oooff..good luck to me!

I think having the bathroom door open at night just bothers you period. Do you sleep with the lights on or off? I think sleeping and waking up at night facing the open door probably just makes you really paranoid because you can't see anything and you are unsure of what could be lurking there. I suggest putting a night light in the bathroom at night and leaving the door open and see if that helps any.

It might be that you are just creeping yourself out, because you are scared you get nightmares. What happens when you are asleep and someone leaves open the door without you knowing? Do you still have nightmares then? Another possible explanation might be that there is a negative energy that hangs around your bathroom. How do you feel in the bathroom in the daytime?

i still wake up even when i don't know that someone opened the door and sometimes have nightmares. We don't usually go and spend time in our room at day time because it's very warm there that time.

You can change your room around so the bed is no where near the bathroom! You must have some fears and prayer does help alleviate your fears! No harm in that.

Kharen, I have the same problem. When my bathroom door is open I feel very uncomfortable. I have lucid dreams anyway so I can't say my nightmares stems from the bathroom. Even when the bathroom door is shut, I can hear movement in there. I used to blame it on the house settling but I talked to a few carpenters and they all said that as old as my is (100 years), it's done all the settling way before now. When we remodeled that room, we found out that it used to be the front porch to the house and underneath was the house's cellar that had an entrance door outside. The lights will even flicker when someone is there but only if someone is inside, so I had an electrician check it out and since the electrical is all newly replaced, he couldn't find out anything faulty. So.... to get to the point...relax and just keep your door closed. Don't think of it as a dilemma just treat it as just another preference. Some like showers, some like baths...the same decision goes with bathroom doors..some like them closed, some don't really care. You'll be fine :)
