A state funeral for Margaret Thatcher

There has been quite a lot of talk about giving a state funeral for Margaret Thatcher. I think this is a complete waste of money as well as being totally inappropriate for such a hated figure. I can't believe they are even thinking about it. She destroyed so much and a lot of what we are suffering now is her legacy and she has got her wish as there is no such thing as society now. It would be interesting to get opinions from non UK members and UK of course as to what you think, would you want a state funeral for a hated leader?
