Are you wondering why there are so many religions in the world today; and wondering, too, if they are all worshipping one Supreme Being? Are you also wondering why God allows-if indeed He allows-such religions to appear when He can always order all of His people to adopt only one religion via His powers?
Or could it be that God actually allows multiple religions? If so, why did he allow such differences?

News of miracles and happenings are localised. As such it is difficult for a miraculous happening that occurred in one corner of the world to reach another far corner of the world in the olden days. Most religions have their roots to Christianity or Islam or Buddhism, to name a few of the world's religions. God has shown Himself through various ways in those parts of the world and the people of that part of the world perceive His existence as they see Him. There are of course many other forms of religions and rituals that people adopt which may not make sense to us, but to those who practise those forms of worship and sacrifice there is much meaning and satisfaction.
I am a Hindu in practise. I have had my Christian friends coming forth to tell me that Christ is the ONLY WAY. I brush them off gently by saying, "Sorry, I have faith in what I believe. Have you all seen God? If you say yes, I too can say yes."
The truth is there is ONLY ONE SUPREME BEING. This world is His creation. He reigns supreme and He is the JUDGE AND JURY. WE can't have normal beings like you or me to determine which is the true religion of GOD!!!

Tenawha, It's man's ignorance and ego into not accepting the fact that there is ONLY ONE GOD and many religions leading to THAT ONE GOD, that is creating the conflicts and the wars and killings. GOD is omnipresent and omnipotent. He is everywhere and can take any form. If He could create this universe, is it difficult for Him to be anything and everything? Where there is the common understanding that all religions are from the same God and that all religions are different ways to the same God, then only peace reigns. So we human beings should learn to accept UNITY IN DIVERSITY!!!!

If there is one god and all religions are worshiping this one god then why does he set them fighting and killing each other. I would think that there are either many gods who use humans to do their fighting for them or there are no gods and humans just invent gods so that they have an excuse to kill their neighbors and take their land and goods.
