I moved out when I was 20. :) I couldn't wait to get out of there. I love living on my own and in my own house. I don't have any "rules" to follow! :)

Well I left home when I was 16. My husband didn't leave home until he was 23. He has an uncle that is over 40 and still living at home. I think if you are going to college maybe up to age 24 at the very most, but I couldn't stand living at home for that long. If you have a great relationship with your family then hey, do what's best for you.

I agre 100% some people judge people who cant get out of there parents home right away but people have different situations where they may not be able to and i think that is fine

I started the same discussion as you. A lot of people responded around 21-24. But I say until your parent say "GET OUT!" LOL! Or if you're finicially stable or is getting married.

I think it depends on your situation. If you can afford to live on your own then you should definitely do so, but if you are going through rough times then I see no reason why living at home would be problem. That is what family is for. But if you are one of those fourty year old losers who live off of mom and dad because you are too lazy to support yourself, then you should get a job and stop being a mooch.
