Benayoun staying at Liverpool

Following Rafael Benitez’s comments that he may have to sell players to buy Aston Villa’s Gareth Barry, it has been reported that Benayoun could be one to make way. Manchester City and former club West Ham United have been linked with the Israel international, but his agent insists the player is staying at Anfield. "There has been no contact or talks with any club about Yossi," Ronen Katzav told skysports.com. "All summer there has been speculation about Yossi, but he has a contract with Liverpool. "I don't believe Liverpool want to sell Yossi and he is just concentrating on life at Liverpool. It is nice that everybody is interested in Yossi, but from our point of view he is only thinking about Liverpool."
