Do you people find that the controls don't respond properly in the game of golf? Its so hard to hit softly. In tennis, it responds much better.

Honestly I don't find how hard one hits the ball to make that much difference in Wii Tennis. Hitting soft shots in golf does seam to be more luck than anything else.

the game of golf either responds to hard or doesnt respond.. 2 extremes... unlike tennis... proper smashes every time - both players too..

In tennis it does matter, but you don't notice until you get to the higher levels. Plus, the harder you swing on a serve, the more likely you are to get one of those cool fast balls (only cool when it's not aimed at you!).

I think you just have to get used to the controller. It is easier to do better in tennis right away, but on golf I can finally hit softer shots now. And in tennis I've also improved my timing a lot so that I can get the ball to go away from the opponent. I've made it to pro on tennis and bowling. But not on golf yet and no where close on baseball.
