Here we are at Monday again......

Well it's Monday morning, we made it through a much to short, much to quick weekend. So, other than back to work, anybody have any special events or plans for the week ahead? The only thing I have this week will be tomorrow, I get to go back for another attempt (last one was unsuccessful) at an MRA (mri with dye) and then back to the doctor's office, to see if he will be planning surgery on my wrist injury or not! yea!! lol Other than that, I'll be 'enjoying' my time off (3 months now since boss put me on medical leave). Will spend some time outside getting fresh air and sun, and will do some scrapbooking (which takes a little longer with limited use of left hand and wrist). So, what have y'all got going this week?

No great exciting plans for this week, going to go shopping tomorrow for my childrens P.E kits for school and some treats for my nails, rest of the week will just be shopping and cleaning.
Weekend though is one of my childrens birthdays and so we are off to a theme park for the day so I am looking forward to that. Just hoping the weather decides to smile on us for that day!!

This is Tyler's (my grandson for those who don't know who he is) last week here before he goes home and I am not sure what if anything special will happen this week. I just need to do something since I am already getting down in the dumps just knowing he is going home soon and my boring, lonely life will be back. Be sure to let us know about your doctor's appointment.

Enjoy your last week with him, I'm sure he'll keep you busy this week. Maybe you should get into scrapbooking, just think of the mess we would have strown all over the place. We kept fairly neat when we painted shirts. lol I'll let ya know how it all goes, I'm just hoping it's not leading to surgery!

Nothing too fun or exciting planned except for Friday...we're going to the state fair. We go every year...there's a lot to see and do there. I think we're supposed to get a break from the sweltering heat that day so it should make for a good time.

I miss going to the State Fair of Texas! I live in PA now, and they have county fairs around here, I have been to a couple of those. The big thing here seems to be the State Farm Show in Harrisburg, it's in January. We did go this year and it was fun, well for me lol, of course being raised in Texas around Stock Shows it was fun and I used to raise Boer Show goats so it was interesting to see the stock they had up here.

I have today off so I'll run some errands. I am finishing the final touches on my new book and that has to go to the publisher in the next week. My entire family (brother, sisters and their families) have a yearly weekend at the lake next weekend so I have to get a few things for the weekend including finding a few more things for the gift I'll bring of the tournament (we have a card tournament)...so it will be a busy week....I also work the rest of the week!

Plans for the week include some refurbishment on the old house, guests for dinner tonight (sauerbraten with trimmings), out-of-town guests (father and son from Bremen) beginning tomorrow, and take-off for a holiday in Scotland at week's end. WOOO HOOO!!! It's a busy time.

Sounds like a busy week ahead, do enjoy your holiday in Scotland. I've always wanted to go to Scotland, hopefully in the future I'll make a trip over there. By the way have you ever heard of the Ashford Castle?

Yes it has been a short weekend. My husband left for work early this morning. He is starting a new job this week. I have a son that I stay at home with. Sometimes it gets lonely without my husband here but my son keeps me pretty busy.
I wish you luck with your appointments. I hope everything goes well for you.
I will also be spending some time here on my computer to pass the time.

i don't have any special appointment for this week except that i am going to have a baby shower for my sis-in-law who is going to give birth soon and my other colleague at work... we are going to have a dinner at a restaurant tonight... tomorrow night, i am having an appointment with my pastor... thursday night, i have a prayer meeting... friday night, sunday school meeting with my pastor... saturday is my family time with my hubby... and sunday, church time... that's all... take care and have a nice day...

Hi palonghorn,
It will be all mylotting for me for the rest of the week after doing the daily routine here as watering the garden,flowers as well as cleaning the house!
So, it will be the usual event for me!

I have to work a few days this week and I also have a driving lesson as well, other than that I have no concrete plans. I will probably go shopping and get some hair dye and dye my hair again. I will also try and get some more of my cross stitch done as well as earn some money on the internet.
