Will this season be the season Tottenham smash up the 'Big Four'?

Since January virtually a whole new team has been created, except the strikeforce which has now been destroyed without replacement in sight. A stunning victory over Chelsea in last season's league cup give cause for optimism-but it still doesn't see like it will happen. Why not? Are the Top four too strong, or have other teams in the chasing pack overtaken Spurs?
