Snakes Dont Bite if u tell them name of saint Called "Aastik " ? Is that true ?

hey I heard that ...there was a saint named "Aastik " from India .....he saved so manhy snakes from dying ....that GOD of snakes thanked him....and inreturn he gave a bliss to that Saint ...that "if any snake try to bite a person and he will take your name in front of any snake its not going to bite that person ????
Have u heard the story.....I have heard but dont know its true or not ...I heard it from some other saint in India.....?
Do u know this story is this a true story ??

hi, I don't know whether its truth or not , but if I ever face a snake I would not try take his name,no trial and error method, rather I would run away. He he

Hello,Ganeh! It is not a story,it had happened in his life some thousand years back,and it was told by the saint Astika to his deciples that if they utter his name repeatedly they will overcome the fears of snakes.but no body has tested the truth of it as yet but the elders say this to their children.thanx.

True or not, I would suggest that no matter what, get away from the snake and just leave it. Save your words, it's better to just leave it alone than to talk to it. I don't know of this story though, so I can't help you there.
