I completed my second week on the challenge yesterday. It didn't go as good as the first week, but wasn't a total loss. I had a few days I ate over the amount of carbs I wanted to so I didn't lose any more weight, but I did keep the three pounds from the first week off. I'm going to make this week a better one!

Way to go carbs are a hard one for me also. I have a hard time giving up the bread. Good luck for next week.;-)

Thanks. I had a good day today so the week started well anyhow. Hopefully I'll at least lose another pound this week.

Hey, congrats on completing the second week of your Boundless Living Challenge. Any week you don't gain is a great week, in my opinion. Hopefully, this week you'll drop a pound or so. Hang in there and keep that body moving! I know how hard that can be.

You know, sunnflr, how a person thinks they will do is how they will do. In a lot of ways, losing weight really is "mind over matter." It is a constant struggle for many of us, but just feeling confident and committing to 2 or 3 simple rules: like eating 4 or 5 vegetables a day, eating a fruit before each meal, walking 20 minutes every day no matter what, can really help us regain control over diet and exercise habits. Glad to hear you are keeping it up. I'm still working on it also. Take care.

Good luck with the rest that you want to lose. If I can just keep my focus on watching my carb intake I do fine. With diabetes that's the best way for me to eat. I can see it in my meter readings when I test my blood sugar, and I feel better overall. It's just not easy to stick with all the time.

I'm certainly going to try. I'm still feeling optimistic and in more control so that's something anyway. I was feeling like I would never get back in the swing of things, so this is a great feeling!

Cool!! At least you did keep off what you have already lost. That is an accomplishment, too. I'm hoping I didn't sabotage my weight loss this morning by eating ice cream. And not just one serving either. Keep up the good work!! If I can do it, you can, too. And if you can do it, I can, too!!

You should be ok if you do good the rest of today and the week. Drink plenty of water to help flush out the bad stuff. I hope we both have great weight loss weeks!

I just got on the scale awhile ago and I am still at my 7 pound loss!! I've been drinking lots more water than I have in quite a while. Plus I have cut way down on soda pop and ice cream. After I have cut out all that sugar, my body doesn't hurt as much.

I saw an article one time that listed all the ways in which sugar is bad for us. I believe it had somewhere around 200 reasons to not eat sugar!

I didn't know you were low carbing...so am I...sigh. I was doing pretty good until I forgot about the carbs in Coffee Mate liquid creamer and then, since they had the A/C set to artic levels in this office for two days last week, I had to drink two cups of coffee (each day) with way too much creamer in it. I've learned my lesson...this week I brought in a sweater. Good luck...hand in there!

Thanks I'm trying. I always supposed to eat low carb because of my diabetes. Eating low carb keeps my blood sugar in the correct range. I am trying to stay pretty low on my carbs all the time now. Good luck to you also!
