Cherry Coke Zero

Do any of you drink this? I had tried the regular coke zero and didn't particularly care for it. When visiting my cousin about a month ago the only diet drink she had was cherry coke zero. I was leary of trying it but when I did I found that I really like it! Now I buy cherry coke zero and Diet Dr. Pepper for here at home. They are the only two diet drinks I can drink alone, without food. I'm forced to drink diet coke or diet pepsi when going out most times, and can only handle those two with food. So, what do y'all think of cherry coke zero?

Gosh, I haven't tried Cherry Coke Zero. Does it have caffeine in it? I only drink caffeine free sodas/pop and I only have one or 2 a week, if that. I have been decaffeinated for about 20 years. I am aware that even decaf drinks have a tiny bit of caffeine in them. Also, I have been told that the carbonated water leeches calcium from bones. Since I am in my 50s and have osteopenia, I try to avoid them. However, if Cherry Coke Zero doesn't have caffeine, I would sure try it sometime just to see what it tastes like. I used to drink quite a bit of soda in my 20s and 30s. In my 40s, the amount of soda I drank dropped off quite a bit. By 51 or so, I was down to 1 can of soda a week. I take 2 calcium tabs a day to try to keep all my calcium in my bones! It's heck to get old. As my momma once said, "If I'd have known I was going to live so long, I would have taken better care of myself." It's funny though, because I still feel quite young in alot of ways. Take care and enjoy your Cherry Coke Zero.

Humm, I don't know if they make a caffeine free version or not. I tried going without caffeine for over 2 weeks. Everywhere I read said that after a few days the headaches would go away. Well, I had a headache every day straight for 2 and a half weeks. My husband finally said enough was enough, just drink some caffeine..lol.

Boy, do I remember those headaches. That is a withdrawal symptom from caffeine. And pretty much nothing makes them better, except time. After about 2 weeks, they were finally gone. And I couldn't believe how much better I felt. My husband kept saying, "Caffeine has never bothered me." Then, a few years later, one of his doctors suggested he get off caffeine. And, oh my God, he just about had a fit after about 3 weeks, he felt so much better. He was amazed that all his adult years, he thought he'd had no effects from caffeine. I couldn't pay him to start drinking it now.

If the doctor ever tells me to quit it I will probably try again. I have enough headaches just with my fibromyalgia that I hate adding something that is going to cause more. I even cut my hair recently because when we went hiking and I put it in a ponytail I got headaches.

I tried it but because it is still made with aspertain it still has the bitter after flavor that I do not like. It would be good if they changed to splenda.

My son said the same thing, that he could taste the aspertame. I don't pay any attention anymore I guess. I like splenda also, especially for cooking with.

I don't like the regular coke zero, but when they added the cherry flavor to it I like it. Hopefully it won't be too long before you can try it.
