Please help me...Hi I'm a college student who is starting to gain weight ever since I turned 20. I just want to know what the most effective weight loss program is when your running on a low budget. In my case I'm just relying on my allowance. I hope someone can help me I'm not one of those girls who'll starve herself to death but I really need help, my mom says that it is hereditary and that it comes from my dad's side of the family but i told her that maybe there still a chance that it's not and I want to prove it. So I hope you guys can help me.

I began a healthy eating plan 3 weeks ago. I keep a food diary - i write down everything that I eat and at what times. It has helped me identify what times I am eating 'bad' foods and I have been trying to change that. I have also replaced bread and pasta with wholemeal varieties and tried to eat fruit and veg instead of sugary snacks. Wholemeal is no more expensive than white pasta and bread and if you shop around you can pick up cheap fruit and veg. I have only started exercising in the last couple of days-just some skipping to get my heart rate going and then some toning exercises. I have lost 3pounds in three weeks which i am inpressed with as I have only been making small changes to my diet. I hope thes tips help you and if you find other methods successful be sure to let me know! Have a good day and good luck.

There is no quick fix. At least not a healthy one. Eat a healthier diet. One full of fruit and veggies. Increase your activity level. Exercise at least 15 minutes a day. That should help. And it is cheaper than sy Nutri-System, lol.

Make a diet plan, search the net about it. Do regular exercises. If you have time, go to gym and look for the best gym instructor. Eat well, as i have said the proper diet. Avoid sweets and fats.

You would need to post what you typically eat during a normal day. But I mainly see that people are eating too many carbs. If that's the case focus on eating more meats, fruits and veggies and not so much carbs such as potatos, white bread, pasta, and sugars. Get your carbs from whole grain wheat bread, brown rice and sweet potatos. Exercise, take a long walk three times a week, work your endurance up so you can jog. You can check out www.sparkpeople.com or www.fitday.com to help track your food intake. The idea is to eat less calories then you burn to loose weight.
