I've been to Singapore twice and I can say that it really offers a variety of spots you can truly enjoy. Plus the places you want to visit is very accessible in a sense that they have an efficient MRT system and there is no worry of getting lost. The country is very clean and the people are friendly. When we had a vacation there for 2 weeks last summer, we visited museums, the Jurong bird park, Sentosa island and other tourist spots there is in the map. Make sure you have a comfy walking shoes because it's really nice walking around the country. If your budget is quite big, try Australia. Sydney is really beautiful.

We were in aussie five years ago. It was a package trip including a two way ticket with 3 days accommodation and tour in Melbourne. I think it was $400-500. Then we went to Sydney the fourth day by train. The sight was really awesome. In Sydney we stayed in a friend's place so less cost for us. I think overall we spent more or less than $2000 each. That includes souveneirs and other stuff. It would be nice if you have a friend or relative you can stay with to cut cost. And we seldom hire a cab when we want to go places. We take the train and mostly we walk our way through.

hi there. if you want to go to a beach try Boracay or Siargao Island in the Philippines. Would you also like to try exploring the Holy Land where Jesus grew up and had His ministry? How about Japan where Hello Kitty came from? =)

singapore is a very nice place to go to. there are lots of places you can enjoy visiting. sure, it is just a small country but there are really lots of good tourists spots there. plus, it's not that expensive to stay in singapore. if ever you'll visit it, don't forget to go to sentosa island and ride their cable cars. it's worth it!

I am glad that you really enjoyed your time in Hong Kong. I liked it very much when I was there in 2000. I suggest that because you enjoy going to big cities you might like Singapore. It is a clean, orderly, safe and scenic city. You can do some superb shopping there and go to Sentosa Island for swimming on a man made beach. It it amazing to see the national park and all the monkeys there. Alternatively Malaysia is a friendly and beautiful country. Kuala Lumpur is a lovely city with excellent shopping. The palm fringed beaches and islands are wonderful to relax on. The culture is interesting and visiting a temple is a fascinating experience. The train system there is really good and the are night sleepers for going to Singapore or Bangkok. I haven't been to Thailand or Vietnam yet but they are countries on my travel wish list. Indonesia is a cheap country to travel in with lots of interesting sights. I had quite an adventure on Sumatra. I swam in a lake, did some caving and watched orangutans in the wild. It is Muslim and the local culture is interesting. In the rest of the country the religion and customs are different so you could try going to Jakarta perhaps or another of its many islands. I hope that you will have a fantastic trip where ever you decide to go.

You'll think I am nuts but Texas Canyon, AZ - the best most beautiful place in the world. It is just a hill at like 8000 elevation in Arizona. Beautiful. Next is Tombsone AZ - lot of history and just alot of fun. Bracketville, TX - where John Wayne recreated the original Alamo mission to 1/4 scale and is still there today and is called Alamo Village. Lots of history and great for a John Wayne fan - that my son was - this was his dream trip of a life time and I was able to give it to him in 1998. Got to Julian, CA - up in the mountains, just beautiful little town with lots of shops and great places to eat.
