iphone 3g has been officially released (last august 22, 2008) in the philippines via globe with a price tag of around php42,000 for pre-paid kit.. do you have any idea if it is sim-locked? or can work with any simcard like smart?
i am planning to get one but want to use it outside of philippines.. :-)

I am from india. iphone is not yet available in india.
3g network is yet to be started here. A few days ago the government has announced the introduction of 3G spectrum in our country.
hope all mobile networks change to 3G and the iphone will be a good choice at that time.
i like to buy the iphone when it releases in india
