Animals and Our Heroes

Okay, well some of you know that I am drawing pictures for our real life heroes...and you know the one I am working on right now is a horse mourning at a police officers grave.
I'm also planning on doing an eagle honoring a soldier (not sure how yet. Don't think I want to just do graves for every picture).
But I was wondering if I could get a little help figuring out what animal to use to honor firemen. And also, what other group of heroes would you like to see an animal honoring? And what animals?

LOL! I thought of a dalmation but...I just didn't feel like ti was the right choice for me. I don't know why! You would think a dalmation would be perfect! If I was making all the pictures an animal mourning a gravestone, I would defeniatly do a dalmation. But i don't want to make the pictures all the same! :P

Oh I do like the eagle oevr a battlefield, I'll have to see if I'll be able to pull that off! :P lol.
I didn't even think of doing the firemen one at an already burned house. Just kept picturing something that was ON fire. But I like your idea!

Wow, you are talented. Hopefully you will post some of your drawings on myLot for all of us to see. Since I can remember, the Dalmation dog was a mascot for the fire department. Our daughter is a firefighter and she would appreciate seeing a picture of a dalmation to honor the firefighters. You might draw a policeman or a policewoman with a German Shepherd since they are so helpful in fighting crime with the police.

I'll probably end up doing the dalmation now that I have a whole new plan with these pictures lol.
But I don't want to have any animals be the same for any of the different people. And I chose a horse for police because I know they use them (they use them a lot in New York) for their mounted police. :D
