Birth control isnt for everyone. That is a very personal decision. Some like to take a shot every couple of months even though there's a great chance of weight gain. SOme like to be more in control of their choice and take a pill everyday. Some use the withdrawal and calendar method and are very successful. I think what doctors have done is to make it as convenient as possible for everyone. This way there should be no excuse as to why a woman shouldnt use birth control unless she has a medical condition, is trying to conceive or just doesnt care either way. A womans right to choose is a blessing no matter what she chooses. dl

Hey DL, yes indeed its a personal decision. Right now we use withdrawal and calender method because we are abit too shy to face a gyno for advice coz you can't just guess the best method for your body. We have planned to wait until our first baby comes then we get the courage to face a gyno for advice. Thanks alot for your good advice and response.

I hope you and your new husband are blessed with as many babies as you can stand. I am a nurse and the advice I give to couples is to do what is comfortable for you. I understand the shyness to communicate with the gyno. I was the same way. For centuries women use the calendar and withdrawal method. There's nothing wrong with it. You are married. You dont have to worry about multiple partners or anything so just sit back and do what makes you feel good. Dont get too crazy now! lol Or should I say dont do anything I wouldnt do!!!! LOL God bless my friend.

hello kwenge, it's been a long time since i last responded to your discussions huh! ^_^ Well, i've been married for almost 6 years now. I've never really into artificial birth controls. Though I have tried it once but I don't like it because of the side effects i have felt while using such control. So I and my husband still ended at natural birth control until now. ^_6

And before I forgot, yeah natural is always the best. It doesn't give you unpleasant feelings plus it doesn't cost a single centavo. It's just a matter of self decipline. ^_^
