I have be thinking and I decided that I would start a discussion and ask all you fine people out there in mylotland If you could go back in time and meet one inventor from the past or if you could bring him to the present who would you choose? Why would you choose that person? Is that person someone you look up to?What did the person you want to meet invent? How did the invention aid other people?Has the invention evolved in this day and age or is it still the same as it was in the past? The reason I started this discussion is because me and my fiance were just watching a show on A&E about Henry Ford and if I could go back in the past and meet one inventor it would be a tough choice between the two prominent candidates of Henry Ford and Thomas Edison, they were both genius and they both invented things that I do not think we could live without today,Henry Ford basically invented the first automobile because he was the first person to use the assembly line, and if I could talk to him I would ask him what made him decide to create the first automobile and I would thank him for giving us the automobile since it is relied on from travel in this day and age and I am sure if he was still around today,he would be so very proud of how it has blossomed from the original idea into the newer generation of cars, while on the other hand Thomas Edison invented the light bulb, which is also very needed today because without it we would not have them to see what we are doing, and I think the light bulbs have not changed that much other than nowadays we have the ones that save energy, and if I could talk to Thomas Edison I would ask what made him decide to invent the light bulb and I would thank him for giving us a valueble source of light,I look forward to all the responses I will hopefully get,and I will appreciate anyone who responds to me,and with all my other discussions I ask that you treat this discussion with the utmost seriousness and only give me honest truthful answers, and I promise that I will comment back on all the responses, and the more quality you put into your responses, the more quality I would put into my comments, have a great day.

I think I would also agree to bringing back Henry Ford and asking him a few questions. I would choose Henry Ford as a candidate to bring back because I think he could give not only us as citizens great tips on his cars, but also the people who are carrying on his tradition and legend by creating the cars still today. The invention did aid people in driving but in some ways I wish that his old Model T Ford's and other models would be brought back so that we could not only admire and value them, but also because I think they are a lot more appealing then the cars of today. I also like that he grew up modestly on a farm and earned what he sowed day after day. He seemed to have been a vere nice and amicable man!
I love you with all of my heart and soul baby, I hope you get many replies on this discussion.

Did you know that Henry Ford was also offered government contracts to build parts for bombers during World War II? He had a plant built in Willow Run, Michigan, to manufacture parts for the B-24 Liberator, and was later granted contracts to build the entire plane.
