At our new generation, everything is in fast forward and in full speed. As if everyone is in a hurry to finish and/or accomplish something. Multitasking is what they say the name of the ability to do many things or tasks at the same time. "A man can not spin and reel at the same time." This is a saying that means you do things one at a time. Doing things step by step would be perfect and no mistakes. For me, I would rather work one at a time than work all together at the same time and at the end I have to redo everything because of some mistakes and missed responsibilities. For me, quality if more important than quantity because when I work I want to have an excellent result and I can do things carefully and meaningfully. What about you? Can you do two things at the same time? Are you a multi tasker? How do you that? How did you do it?

Count me in. With the kind of work I am doing, I am definitely good in multitasking. In fact, right now I am taking calls while doing mylot. I can accomplish two things at the same time.

I, personally, am a very good multitasker. Usally everyday I watch movies with my little brother while working on my S.A.T. workbook and playing games on the computer. The problem with quality is not a problem for me thought. I useally miss only one or two on the S.A.T. book and rarely ever lose in the game and well for the movie... well i can recite almost every thing from it.

well, I can't do things at the same time, but I can do lots of things at the same day. like on weekends, while washing clothes, I'll cook food and while waiting for the food to cook, I'll clean the house.. I just don't want to waste my time just by doing one thing on 1 day..

I know I was never really good at multitasking but I like to think I can and keep on trying to but fail miserably lol. I do better if I can just focus on one thing at a time for I find if I get to many things going on at once and I try and do them all I get over whelmed and frustrated. Maybe some day I can concore this task but right now it's a no go for this one.

Hi leateagee, When you have children and husband to see to and also housework you attend to do multitasking without having to think, I don't have any children but have a husband and two cats and gold fishes, when I start the day I pot the kettle on then fed the fish fed the cats make the coffee make the breakfast that is feeding the cats in between makeing the breakfast, at he same time putting the washing the machine, when the brekfast is done tackle the washing up, so all that is multitasking I'm glad in a way I don't have any children. I do only one thing at a time. i tried so many times to do two things at the same time, so that i can complete my work early but i haven't succeeded in that. If i do two things at a time, i have to check whether i have commited errors and it takes more time than doing one thing at a time.

Right now, I am playing Pokemon Pearl, watching the Weather Channel, going between three different websites on the computer as I talk with people on MSN. Sometimes I read instead of playing Pokemon, or play Pokemon (or some other game) between the pages. If I am just doing one thing, my mind starts feeling like it's not being challenged. I like to keep myself thinking.
