Do you go for the place, the bigger space the better and the ambiance? Do you choose the ones with good service? Or do you go for the taste of the food or the cuisine you like? Or do you choose to go into restaurants thats new to you and find out how the food is and their service. And last but probabaly the most important question, do you go for the cheaper price? Hahaha I hate foodcourts too! Especially my dad. We don't get to concentrate eating at foodcourts. People are too noisy in their. Ciao!

The biggest thing when eating out with our family is the menu options. Because we have two people who almost always need meat when they eat out. One person who eats a limited rage of meats. And two people who are vegetarian, though one of them isn't a true vegetarian as they occationally eat seafood. (No more then once every other week or so). Price and service are also considerations however, as there are places here with nice food and good prices, but crap service. We're talking servers vanishing for an hour or two and ignoring you service.

Yeah I know what you mean when servers disappears. When my family experiences poor service in a resto, that would be last time we're going to eat in that place. I think restaurant managers or owners should train their servers very very well because good service makes people feel homey in resto and makes them come back. Thanks for responding!

Hello to you iskayz! There are several factors I consider in selecting a place to eat. One would be the environment in general. I would prefer a place that is really clean and peaceful. Of course the ambiance of the place is also important. I would like to eat in a place where good service is delivered. Of course the taste of the food is also necessary. My boyfriend and I are fond of looking for good places to eat. Sometimes we would even go out of town to check on new restaurants. Though price is one of the things we consider, I personally think that the price should not be the only consideration. I can pay more than what I should if and when I am truly satisfied with the food and the service that goes with it.

Service has got to come first! I can't tell you the number of times we've gone out to dinner to relax and the service was soooo horrible I couldn't wait to get out of there. Cleanliness also determines if I will return. Of course, the food ranks in there as well, but it is easier to deal with a mediocre meal if the service and cleanliness is tops:)

I choose a place for their ambiance, price and service, I don't really go for the taste coz any type and taste of food is fine for me especially when I'm really hungry.lol. I'm not picky and choosy when it comes to food, but the ambiance is most important for me.. just making sure I feel comfortable while dining and once I'm contented, I can't help to keep coming back, and it would take me awhile to try newly opened restaurants unless if invited with friends and officemates. funny that when another recently opened resto closed, it seems that I'm the only person who haven't went there..lol
