xD
I had such a wonderful day yesterday;
I met up with a gooooooooooood old friend that I haven't seen in 16 months. First our plan was to just spend some time at the park and talk and catch up, but we ended up blowing away six hours and having a beautiful dinner together on a hill top patio then jumping on a gigantic trampoline. xD
It felt so good to see him again; we got over old grudge we had for each other so quickly and gained back the super strong trust we had in each other.
But I also found out he's going away to college in two weeks.
I still don't know what I want to do college-wise....but I sparked a crazy idea of tagging along with him to Salt Lake City. I love doing house keeping-type stuff and I know he'll need help with that, and staying on track with academics. I thought it would be such a good idea for both of us; we could keep each other company, plus I could get a taste of what college is like before I decide what I want to do. I'm positive he'd love this offer of coming with him, but idk. Would a college age guy want someone around to help out like that? :o
And has anyone else reconnected with an old friend recently?

I don't know if I would move in with him if thats what you are thinking. You just met up with him again after more that a year. Do you like him more than a friend now that you met up with him again? As far as reconnecting with an old friend myself I would have to say, no I haven't unfortunately. I am trying to find my sister, an ex boyfriend and another friend from HS that I lost contact with over the years. Wish me luck:).

I can't say that I had a chance to reconnect with an old friend recently but I did get a chance to link up with a friend that I have been trying to get a hold of for some time. Before I got married, he was my best man, we used to travel to Nassau and Vegas without thought. Now he has a grandson and likes to fly out to Salt Lake to hang there. He runs a large factory and is on many committees which calls for his attention. But it was nice to hang with him at his house a few days ago catching up. Nice post. It made me remember how great it was!
