Do you have a happy Place?

Whenever I am feeling a bit low I try to think of my happy place. The picture I took is of one of the best days I have had with my daughter and my fiance. It is my happy place! I recently came across this picture yesterday when I was looking through my photo files on the computer and wanted to share
.
Do you have a happy place? Is it a real place that you can look at a picture of or someplace you have imagined? How often do you go to your happy place?

I do have a happy place,if not one or two,but they are places where I spent my childhood, one of them is in monmouthshire ,a place that holds very special memories for meYes i have been back there, many times, and ive been down to the church and looked inside, walked around the village and just dreamt my little dreams!Wonderful dreams too!

My happy place is where ever I can sit and scrapbook. When I sit down with my scrapbook and get started I basically loose myself in it. I tune the world out. The firealarm could go off and I don't think I would notice. In fact last week I was scrapbooking and apparently my husband came in and said hi 3 hours later he walked in the room again as I was cleaning up and I said wow your home late! He laughed and said he had been home for a while and even came to say hi. I didn't even notice!

I really like to visit my happy place! I like to lay in bed and think about all the things I need to do the next day and imagine me finishing them all in record time. There I am on my weight bench finishing up a masterful 25 set workout or getting the garage cleaned out. It is a real wonder to me how it all works and how it helps my mind think that the task is already done. When I actually begin the task the next day my mind thinks: done, done, done. Then it's easy. Hmm. Is that consider a 'happy place' or is it just a technique I use, I am unsure now! :-)

I do not get out a whole lot. I am a stay at home mother of a four year old son. If I had a favorite sanctuary to go to I would probably choose a tranquil mountain range.
I have been to the mountains quite a long time ago. They can be very peaceful and relaxing.

Thats very cool! I like to think about the places that I have been to and escape to them when I am stressed. My mom and I don't get along enough for me to feel that way about her unfortuantly. But life does go on and I find my happy places where I can get them! One of my favotite happy places is sleeping in and being cuddeled up with my fiance, that feeling will usually stay with me all day!
