Why does no one respond?

I have posted a few discussions and I have gotten no responses. I respond to so many discussions on here but no one returns the favor to me. These aren't silly discussion starters for money either. I actually want to know if anyone has answers to these for me. Am I doing something wrong?

it's nothing personal. and you're probably not doing anything wrong. some people only can respond to certain discussions. some stay with friends. and others may have answered a similar discussion. if you repeat something, and they catch it , then it will be deleted with no credit given. many people have felt the same way as you. it is nothing personal against you. sometimes you just have to pick the magical question. try to enjoy what you're doing and give it some more time. happy posting.

Don't feel bad, I have posted many discussions and have no responses on them. I think some of my discussions should create a discussion, but they do not. My discussion with the most responses was something silly, figure that out

I'm starting to notice that trend. Silly questions get answered but ones that are serious and need help don't get answered. I'm thinking of asking on YahooAsk instead but I wll try 1 more time posting that question to see if someone here can answer first.

I don't think you're doing anything wrong. I usually read the new discussions as they come up so maybe I've missed yours since I'm supposed to be working,
but I'm sure it's nothing personal. I've also found that certain times of the day are slower than others around here. Keep posting and don't get discouraged. And, welcome, by the way!

Here is a response for you. I often have the same issue. I start a discussion and barely get any responses. I see other topics that are just ridiculous like what do you eat with your chicken and they get multiple responses. Oh well what can you do. Anyway I thought I would at least help you out with one response. Keep trying.

LOL, that's exactly my point....who cares what you eat with your chicken...I have a question that I would like answered and not one person responds to it! Ah well, I'll just keep trying to post it in different ways! Thanks for your comment.
