Barack Obama has touted hmself as a community organizer, a lawyer, a state senator and finally a US senator! On examination of his real accomplishments they are mediocre at best and most are downright non-events! Why then do the democratic voters ignore this obviously inexperienced empty suit being pumped up by the democratic leaders as something he can only pretend to be? The following article categorizes this "pied piper's" total inadequacy! http://www.newsmax.com/kessler/Obama_Inexperience/2008/07/15/112909.html

The point is there is a majority of Americans out here who don't care about his experience. They read his books and agree with his ideas and see his experience for what it is. This is why Republicans try (laughably) to paint him as an elitist. His lack of Washington experience and his upbringing are precisely what people like about him. Americans are giving someone different a chance because we have run out of options. Obama is a great speaker and this is what a country that is falling apart at the seems needs. I would prefer he had never set foot in Washington!

You ask a very good question. The Clinton's should be furious that Hillary got tossed under the buss for this loser. While I am no fan of the Clintons, at least Hillary had more on the ball then Obamoron does, and she would only cost about half as much as what his plans for the country would. This is a classic case of the usual smoke and mirrors from the liberals... all talk and no substance.

If yu are not a Democrat the only real motivation for claiming sympathy for Hillary is because you know Obama will win. What about Mitt Romney he lossed so the Republicans threw him under the bus?

Do not presume to know so much about me. I don't think Obamoron is going to win, nor am I overly sympathetic to the Clintons. If you wasn't such a newbie on myLot, you would know this. I suggest you look at the poll numbers, and then ask yourself why is Obamoron not leading McCain by double digits with all of the favorable press coverage he has been getting.... because the MSM is Obamoron's personal PR machine.

Being a newbie on Mylot has nothing to do with facts. When Obama wins he will win, no matter the margin. Thanks for lowering yourself.

So let us compare the two, first Obama a community organizer, a lawyer, a state Senator and an one term US Senator vs. McCain a naval aviator, a navy officer for 23 years, a two term Congressmen, and a four term Senator. Right there McCain whips Obama like a kid caught getting into the cookie jar, but then you just had to look into Obama's accomplishments Rodney. Come on we are comparing a guy that graduated from the US Naval Academy vs a guy that graduated from Harvard. I am tired of hear about how great Harvard is, give me a man from the US military academy any day. A lawyer vs a naval aviator come on lawyers are a dime a dozen, but a war hero that was proud of his service now that is stuff of legends. Does any one even know what a community organizer is really. Anybody can be a community organizer but a naval officer now that is something you can hang your hat on. When you break it down you have one guy who has more experience in his thumb than the other guy in his whole body.

Gewcew, when you take the information you have given us it does look like McCain is far superior than Obama. But, when you look at the facts of all that you have said they paint an different story. I would like to start by asking why you think McCain hasn't released his high school grades? Many believe it is because they would show that they weren't good enough to get him into the Naval Academy. I am sure the fact that he would be a third generation Naval student, had nothing to do with his acceptance into the Academy. It is also said that his time in the Navy wasn't anything to write home about, he did crash 4 planes, and was passed up for promotion many times. Yes, he was shot down, and was a POW for 5 years, no one will question that, and he does deserve credit for his actions while as a POW. However, his memory seems to be a little blury when it comes to alot of facts about who saved his life (a man, or a women, 25 people or 100 people pulled him from the water), and about what he said to his captures (cities already bombed, members of the Green Bay Packers when he is campainging in Wisconsin, and members of the Pitsburg Steelers when he is campainging in Pitsburg). John McCain is a two term Congressman, and a four term Senator, but what has he done there? His most well known bill he sponsored was the McCain/Feingold bill that has been picked appart by the supreme court, and McCain himself doesn't even support it now. So I would say on the work exerpience it is a push. When you take the facts, and lay them out, your statement that McCain has more experience in his thumb than Obama's whole body is not very accurate. But, who needs facts anyways, they just get in the way of a good post.

I have noticed this as well, and am kind of annoyed by it. I do believe he will get elected, though my vote won't be helping that matter... but it's going to be interesting when he does get into office. Democrats overlook the tax increases, and think that Obama will offer a "quick fix" to our economic turmoil. I think change is good, but I also think change needs to be realistic. I hope that Obama will do a good job, because I am a concerned American citizen.. and I do think he will prevail. Hopefully he grows up quick in office!
