What do you do with failed site

I have a website that i started about 6 months ago. It was about helping other earn online , we offered information and what we call referral commission. We did get sign ups , but we never got much interest in them earning with us. I was wondering what you think i as the owner of the site should do with it. I did spend a lot of time and hard work into the site , and now its just sitting there not doing anything. Should i spend more time and fix the site up , when i have a great % of just wasting my time? Or any ideas on what i could do with it? Any ideas would be great.
