May be Hate is a too strong of a word for how I feel when this happens but people asks me where I'm from... No, that's not the question that bothers me... I tell them that I'm from Korea & almost without a fail somebody says, "say something in Korean!!!" When I first started working for the company I'm working in now, one of my co-worker asked me to do that... So I started talking to him in Korean & looked at him like he was stupid for not understanding... At one point, guy was actually starting to get annoyed... So I told him, "see? and here you were the one who wanted to hear me speak in korean... And you're gonna turn around & complain about all those people who can't speak english, right?"...

That's funny. I like how you did that. I never thought of doing that. People use to ask me to say something in Spanish as if I had to prove it to them that I could speak Spanish. I wish I would have done what you did.

LOL... Thank you... I do have some sarcastic side of me & sometimes it gets me into trouble... Most of the times I get flattered that they are interested but after a while, when you're asked to do that time after time, it gets annoying... I'm sure everyone who can fluently speak other languages went through this at one point or another... All I can say is, "Thank you for showing interest but really!!! Enough is enough..!!!" LOL... I think I should record myself saying something in Korean & carry it with me & every time somebody asks me to say something in Korean, just play the tape... How's that saying go? "take a picture, it lasts longer!" Well, in this case, I should hand him a tape with me saying something in Korean & tell him, "If you wanna hear somebody speak Korean, just play this... It will last longer..."

That question bothers me too. I don't get asked that anymore, but I use to be super quiet. Nothing wrong I just liked to hear what was going on around me. Now that I know what's going on I like to be heard, but sometimes I try to take time to keep listening. I don't want to stay out of touch afterall.

How do you stay so beautiful? No just kidding. I wish someone would ask me that, but not in a one-liner kind of way more like I'm so inlove with you that I can't help but be corny around you way. My hubby sort of does this. He doesn't ask a question though he kind of just tells me gorgeous all the time and when my self-esteem is at the worst I wonder why would he call me that? So I think that's the question I hate being asked the most. The one I ask myself doubting how my husband sees me because I have a low self-esteem. I'm working on it though.

I kind of hate "What are you doing?" or "What did you do today?" It's really nobody's business what I'm doing or what I did today. "How are you?" is polite, but "What are you doing?" is nosy.

I am legally blind, and I really hate people asking me if I can tell how many fingers they are holding up. Why do they need to waist my time with something as stupid as that? If they can't count their own damn fingers, they shouldn't be allowed to leave their homes. LOL

What are you thinking about? My fiancee goes to that one every time I'm quiet on the phone with nothing to say.
