I am curious to hear people's point of view on the death penalty. Personally, I am not against it, however, I think by giving the death penalty, the criminal gets off easy. What are your views?

I do not believe in any form of murder. There are forms of killing that are forgiveable, but not murder. If someone has done a heinous crime, they should suffer a very long life. I think our prison systems should have been revamped years ago. A prisoner should get up with the sun and work at such hard labour all day that they are too tired to cause any trouble at the end of the day. They should be fed properly and given decent medical attention. The labour they do should feed and clothe them and give back to society. We should not have to pay for their upkeep. This is done in European countries. In Spain, if you do not have a trade, your family has to feed and clothe you. If you have no family, you have to live on the charity of the church. When you get very old, you should be set free, to live out your life alone. Shalom~Adoniah

I have to agree with you about society paying for inmates up keep. It is a shame that they have free access to health care, education, etc. and that people on the outside pay handsomely for it.
