Here in my place, Philippines, schools in the tertiary age mostly require their students to wear uniforms. Luckily, the present school where i am enrolled doesn't require unform. I really disagree when it comes to having a uniform. Wearing a uniform threatens student's life in my place. What about you? Which side are you on, Pros or Cons? What can you say about these topic. your responses may appear to our research project.

Hi, I don't really like wearing uniforms too. Not because it looks dull, but I'm more comfortable in doing stuff in school when I am in clothes I am comfortable with. I don't really care if we look the same everyday, but still I feel an uneasiness in myself when I am wearing a uniform. I'd rather wear no uniforms even though I don't have that many clothes, luckily in my school today we are not required to wear uniforms. I guess the Pros of having an uniform is that, everyone will not be able to flaunt their designer clothes and all. Everyone would have a similar look that will not let any form of division in wealth be apparent because of the clothes one will wear. Second pro is that the school administration can control what the students will wear, to prevent those overly exposed flesh and stuff. The Cons is that the students have to buy many pairs because they have to wear the same thing over and over again. And I think some will be uncomfortable wearing uniforms for some reason I can't really explain.

Hey! In the place where i live... We had school Uniform upto 12th standard... And then for our degree college we had no uniform.... I think it should be this way... There should be school uniform for primary and secondary schools... And then from higher secondary onwards there should not be any uniforms... I like uniforms.. as i dont have to decide every day.. which dress to wear......

I wore a uniform in high school and I liked it a lot. There were some days when we were allowed to wear civilian clothes (that's what we called it), which meant hat I reserved my best clothes for those days only. The great thing about having a uniform is that I don't need to worry about what to wear to school the next day. Secondly, there's no competition among who's more fashionable and trendy. The cons are as you mentioned, not having enough freedom of expression and another is not having your own identity.

Why would it threaten a student's life? I think wearing uniforms helps because I don't have to choose what clothes to wear. (I don't really have a lot of clothes to choose from and wearing them means wearing them over and over.) Have a nice day!
