How do you rate an email service? Which is best?

I know everyone one of us will have many email ids. The services differ, interface provided by them is different, .... Which is the best email service you use? What are the characteristics you use to gauge the superiority of an email service to other services. For me Gmail is the front runner. They have set the trend and they keep it rolling. Give your choice and discuss why.

I used to have hotmail and yahoo mail,but now I am using gmail. And I find gmail is much faster than the others,there are fewer spams.

I feel Gmail is best and very user friendly. I dont find any difficults with gmail, but others, i find problem in sending files, notification and alerts.
