This link was emailed to me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=adYbFQFXG0U. It is about 2 friends who raised a lion from a cub. They released him back into the wild after he got too big for them to handle. They then went back to Africa after a year or so to see Christian. They found him. The clip is the reunion. I found it amazing! But is it true??? I went to Snopes.com to find out:

Were you as blown away as I was? I thought it as amazing!

That was so great! It's a good thing he remembered them and didn't eat them
I'm sure he remembered how they saved him from that cage. Thanks for sharing this was wonderful.

Yes although it had a sad ending it was so amazing about the friendship that these men had with this lion.

I loved it too. My son's name is Christian and he loves lions. He got a huge kick out of it.

That's heartwarming. People always underestimate animals and their capacity to love. They remember selectively--an animal that's been abused pushes it out of its mind when confronted with love, holds no grudge usually. They always remember those who gave them love and affection or kindness.

Wow, that truly is amazing! Thanks for sharing the link. It was featured in a local news here the other day and totally forgot to check it on the internet. I just wonder how they recognized Christian from the other lions.
Hmm...if it is possible to get the affection of a wild animal, then can this contribute as a solution to saving wildlife? I hope so. Thanks again for sharing! :)

I hope so too. As another responder pointed out, animals remember those who were kind to them Some however, once they go wild sadly.. they stay wild
That's why it amazes me that the lion (especially the female that WASN'T raised by the 2) were so kind, loving and warm
