Paper Vs. Electronic

[b]Do you still pay bills the old fasion way with envelopes and stamps or are you up to date and pay them online? How about banking? Do you bank online as well?? I do everything online! I have two kids and I am always forgeting to go to the post office to buy stamps and send out the bills! Especially thinking of all the energy I have to put in just to make a run to the post office. I find paying bills online more convienent for me. I can always look up my balance and schedule the payments! With the banking online I do that aswell. I usually deposit the money through the drive-thru and do the rest online. I would love to do everything the old fasion way but with two young kids and doing everything on my own. It can be challenging![/b]

I used to do my bills by paper but got tired of haveing to keep buying stamps it got quite costly. I decieded to sign up all my bills to have them done electronically on line. The only one I don't do electronically is the rent check. That I have to mail but all others are done online.

Well I have to admit now that im finding online banking a wonderful invention!I often pay my bills using the online banking method,and its so easy to check your balance,and transfer money from one account to another if needs be.I always said that I wouldnt succumb to the oline banking method,but lol my plans went pear shaped,and now I wouldnt go back to the other way!!

Occasionally if I have to make a deposit or a withdrawl, and need the cash in my hand, I'll go to the bank, but if I am paying bills, and moving money from one place to another, I much prefer to do it electronicly. This is far more convenient for me, especially since I bank in Canada and the USA. I also like paying my bills on line through my pre-paid credit card at the bank, because of the airmiles that I earn. I move the money to the credit card account, then I pay the bill off of the credit card. It works out great!

I pay everything online except my rent because they can't take payments online. I hate mailing it too. Twice the overnight payment took a week to get there and once the post office lost the whole dang thing. So I do everything I can online and am just totally careful about my virus protection.

Yeah lol the rent. Well my landlord only lives 3 feet away so its a easy walk for me lol.

Lucky Mine lives in Japan so I have to deal with a management company and the office is down the craziest road in town and about 45 min. away. Good people bad location. I refuse to go there unless it's an emergency because there is an accident there nearly every day. Yup I'm a chicken but I'm a live chicken. Cluck cluck Thanks for posting.

Wow thats crazy. I didn't know you were near japan. I live in appartments so the office is whats close and thats where we make the payments. They leave at 5 everyday so thats the good thing. But then we have a security officer here from 5pm-3am. It's kinda a bad neighborhood.
