Dark Knight Sequel who will play the JOKER?

The Riddler and the Joker are different characters. I am unsure if you are saying Johnny Depp might sign on to play the Joker or the Riddler. I think it would be in contrast to Johnny's style to take on a recurring movie role. I think he likes new parts each time. The Joker is an iconic batman enemy and could be reworked into several movies which doesn't seem to be Johnny's style.

every role he has ever taken on he gave it his best and over, making every character unique and unforgettable, if he does take on the role i'm sure he's gonna give it justice and i'm sure it will be a different joker from others...

I think Johnny Depp would make a good Joker, some of the mannerisms that Heath did made me think of Johnny when he was playing Willie Wonka. Though it would be hard to top Heath and it wouldn't be the same. I think Catwoman may show up in the next movie. There was a line about the suit standing up to cats ;)

Johnny Depp would be so cool as the next Joker. Wonder if he would take the part? Would be nice to see.

I think that the Joker could be played by Dwight Schultz, who played a great psychotic as Howling Mad Murdock in the A-Team. As far as the Riddler goes? Yeah, I think Johnny Depp could handle the role.

of course he would, have you not seen Pirates of the Caribbean, he was with out a doubt amazing in that role, frankly if heath did not get the role of the joker i would have pictured him as a strong contender for the position, however as much as i would like to see him in that role, i doubt he would want to walk in Heath's shoes so as the Riddler i see him putting himself in the shoe's of who i consider to be the best villain in the story line,his as crazy as the joker was, he was as funny if not funnier than the joker and he was the most intelligent of them all, i personally think he was just over looked because of characters like the joker, and with someone like Depp in his shoe's and the dark approach the story is taking i see this as a really awesome choice and will make for a bigger pay day.....if Chris is directing it.

I think Johnny Depp would do good as the Joker. He brings alot of character to any part he is given. I still think his best part is Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of The Cariberrian though he is really beleivable as a pirate.

I've never been all that into the Batman movies, but after I heard of this rumor the other day from my husband, I swore this was one Batman I'd have to see. I really can't picture Johnny Depp as the Joker, actually I am picturing Captain Jack Sparrow with Joker Make up, lol. But it will be interesting to see, that's forsure.
