Should we continue our safe injecting sites for drug users?

I have to admit, I was on the fence about this one, to me, it was kind of like handing over a beer to an alcoholic. When I think of it though, if it helps reduce the incidences of AIDS, I'm all for it. Although, I wouldn't want one in my neigbourhoor.
