General Hospital: Earth to casting...get a clue!

Ok...sorry! I am about to vent here! Does anyone like Lourdes? I can't stand her. The girl has piss poor acting skills. Seriously...if I have to listen to her read her lines instead of actually act them, for much longer, I might lose it. She really is a bad excuse for an actress. Couldn't the casting people have chosen someone with a ton more skill? Or, when they put the call out for someone to fill the shoes of Lourdes, did they ask for a non-talent? Perhaps, only 2 people showed and one was a guy? Seriously! What were they thinking when they picked her for the role? Oh...the casting crew are all male and she is cute...You can't act but, you sure are nice to look at! Ugh! I hope she is only a temporary role until Lulu and Johnny go back to PC! I really don't know how much longer I can stand this CAN'T Actress!
What do the rest of you think? Am I being overly harsh? Should I just shut up? Or, are you all as thrown by their decision to cast her as Lourdes? Do you all hope she is only a temporary role?

Since she is in the LuLu/Johnny storyline, I don't watch it much. I Mute it or go do something else for a few minutes until then next dumb storyline comes on or...hopefully...Jason, Spenillie, Maxie, Carly or Jax come on. OTher than that, there really is no reason to watch GH these days! And just think we get to have a "repeat return" or Laura this month! Oh, goodie, I can't wait!!! Makes for the perfect "make a quesadilla" time! The only thing I notice about that Lourdes character is that the actress looks older than the age of the person she is portraying.

You are really only missing some of the worst acting since Sage when Lourdes is on the screen! LOL!
I find that the only people that I really want to see are Spinelli and Claudia! I love those two! So, whenever they are on, I pay more attention. And, I always prepare dinner while I am watching GH. It is one of those shows you can just listen to and don't really have to watch so, that is what I do.

I don't have a problem with the character Claudia, but I just can't get past the actress being Carly a few years ago! That is so unlike me as I don't put that much effort into them all, but for some reason, I just can't follow her as Claudia as I keep thinking her as Carly! I do think they should give the girl a chance tho - they have just made her a stupid nothing, and I think she could be so much more - even if it is within the mob world!

We agree on so many things! She is really annoying! I first
thought maybe it was the role she's playing??? She definitely
is a lousy actress. Maybe it's her first gig. Well anyway,
it won't be a long one, let's hope! They should be leaving
that place soon and that should be curtains for Lourdes!
There's no reason to keep her on-at least I hope not!

And, my concern with Lourdes is that they are trying to play this crush she has for Johnny up and may want to continue it after they leave that area and go back to PC. I hope they don't have her stalking him and following him, trying to win his love. But, I have a sneaky suspicion that that is where they are headed with this story line. My hope is that they get enough bad reactions from the audience about the actress that they replace her with another one as they have done with others in the past. Because...she really is awful. Even if it is her first acting job, they should have picked someone more seasoned. Give her a few commercials and something on Nickolodean. Keep her off the adult soap opera. Let the Hanna Montana crowd watch her. That is about her skill level as far as actresses go. LOL!
