I'm thinking of selling stuffs at ebay but I'm not sure where to start. For example, which payment options should I offer and if I should demand for payment first before I send out the goods? I'm in the Philippines and would love to hear anyone's experience selling at ebay, especially in this country.

As the others said PayPal is the best payment option and they owned by eBay. Also eBay is set up to where the buyer pays before you send the item. That's the only way you're going to get the information as to where to send the item.

paypal is the most common way to recieve and send money on ebay so u can use paypal i guess since u re in philippines international money orders or checks would not be a good idea coz bank is taking commission from that checks while u re trying to take money and u lose like 20 dollars or something if u wanna use checks and money orders so to sum up best way is money orders from internet like moneybookers paypal alertpay but most common of them is paypal on ebay

I used to sell things on eBay and it is a good place to make money. Be sure you get paid before you mail anything out. Also, I always used PayPal cause it is hooked up with eBay and that works very nicely. I had a good experience selling at eBay. It is fun and I made some good money. I sold everything possible in my house. Now I have nothing left to sell and don't feel like getting into doing the drop shipping or the yard sales. Lots of luck to you doing this. If you have any more questions, I would be glad to try to help you.

But as a first-time seller, will the buyers trust me enough that they will send money first before I ship out the goods? Did you have this kind of problem before?

offer all types of payments so if somebody does not have money on paypal could pay you with a money order.
