I was always in such a rush to go overseas that I neglected seeing much of my own country. I have seen more of Australia and it is a huge country than I have England and it is a small country. Only in the last three years have I wanted to explore my own country. In 2005 I went to Sark, one of the Channel Islands and in 2006 I went to Stratford Upon Avon. Last year I took my toddler son for a long weekend in Northumberland. I feel happy that I have discovered the joy of exploring my home country. Traveling overseas is still very important to me.

I live in the United States, and I have seen a lot of it so far. I live on the east side, and I have seen all the states there, and I have been to the midwest, I have not been to California yet though, but the U.S. doesn't really excite me, I like to see places outside of my culture, so I doubt I will ever have the motivation to go to California, and I'll end up just vacationing in another country .

I haven't although it's considered a pretty small country. I think sometimes it's more expesive for locals to travel around here than if we go overseas. Especially now that there are so many good deals in international destinations. I would like to see more of my country though, but I just haven't had the chance to do it often. However, I'm starting to do it bit by bit already.
