sick today

Today, I have a cold. That's odd since it's August. I had big plans today to go to the museum, get my chair fixed, and go to this reading, but I feel so bad I don't think I'll be able to do any of it. I don't understand. Yesterday I was fine. I attribute part of it to working all the time, several hours everyday, on writing and also due to the voice strain of dictation. I can't type for that long so I dictate. Ideally, I would find voice recognition software that worked well for me so I could get as much work done as I do now but more split apart and not determined by who's working for me. Some of my PCA's don't type well enough to take dictation and typing for long periods of time myself just doesn't work for me. Has anyone else caught a summer cold? How long did it take you to get rid of it? What did you do for it?
