politics, ans religion 101

One simple question that i want you all to be as honest as possible.....
Do you believe thr world woul be a better place without ANY religion?
And please take into consideration the 3 most relevant religions, catholic/jewish/Islamic And i dont mean to discriminate, or anything by the word "relevant, but simply im trying to say they are the "most popular", Of course i mean any religion.

No I don't think the world will be better without religion. People need something to believe in in this world. However, I think people need to stop thinking that their religion is the right religion and stop creating war over it. Everyone has a right to believe in what they want. If I want to pray to a flower and call it God, then I have all rights to do so. That doesnt make my religion better then anyone eles. The world will only be a better place when everyone understands that it doesn't matter what you call God or what your religion says to eat/dont eat, or how to dress. What matters is people believe. They believe there is something great out there, something that protects them, yet is cruel to them and something that lets them learn in life. NO ONE'S RELIGION IS BETTER THEN ANYONE ELSES! Why can't people just see that?

Yes I have heard about it before and I do think it is sad and disgusting and it's not right to do that. The men in that culture do not get circumsized but the woman do. To me, that is ignorant. Only men are aloud to have pleasure? I know that they do not treat their woman properly and I don't agree with a lot of the things they do but it is not up to me to decide that. If GOD thinks it wrong then He will punish them. That's more of a cultural aspect though and not so much a religious one i think. Us going to war with them to make them change their views and religious beliefs will not solve anything. If that's what they want to do in their country then let them do it. Just don't bring it to our country where we don't do things like that. Dress the way we dress and do as the country we live in does. Dont come here for a better life but bring your old traditions with you. If I went there, I would be made to wear a 'ninja' outfit and follow their beliefs so they should have the same respect here. But as for religion, they have all rights to pray to whoever they want to pray to and we cant stop that. (I don't mean any disrespct for anyone in that culture and sorry if I offended anyone)
