Fleas on cats

I have two cats, one is 1 1/2 years old and the other is 5 months. The kitty got fleas and moved them onto my older cat. Now the house has fleas and I'm getting bitten up. I've tried using some powder stuff I got on them that i have to rub into their fur but that hasn't done it. Should i break the bank and buy some frontline and stuff? does it work any better then what I'm trying to do?

All of cats are using the anti-flea collar. It always works. My cats wears collars from 6-month-big. If their mother doesn't carry a flea, there baby won't.

We use Frontline. It is a bit expensive, but worth it, because it also protects them against ticks, and we lost two kittens to a disease carried by ticks before we started using it!

Your best bet probably would be to get some flea stuff like frontline or advantage and to flea bomb your house. We've had problems with fleas a few times. Don't waste money on the cheap flea bombs either. The only ones that worked for us were Raid brand flea bombs. We've had pets on advantage and that seemed to keep the fleas away. You can save money on that if you go to www.1800petmets.com

I don't have such a headache any more. I bought the anti-flea collars for my cats and they work so well. So I think it's better for you to buy your cats such kind of stuff. It won't be harmful for cats at all. I love China

yes frontline works but if they already have fleas it will take about 2 treatments to do the job. My dog had a flea here and there all thru the winter and it took 2 treatments and just when I thought it would not work they were gone and I dont know where you live but in my town they have this powder at the farm store called 7-dust or seven dust but it works everyone in town spreds it on their yard and dogs and it keeps fleas and ticks away. I see alot I am the only dog groomer in town. hope this helps.
