Hey I was confused with this term its very misleading ....we dont shop still its called windows shopping ........it should be rather called .... " "shop gazing "...
"zero shoping " "shop wandering " "shop keeper teasing "
That makes sense ...we go and tease shop keepers just asking prices and call it hopping ....this term is not good ....if u work at oxford then pls get it changed to what I suggested....If they accept may me some royality also....lol just joking

i know it sounds weird, but window shopping is exactly what it is. its imaginary buying things with the imaginary money you have. i think its only applied when you're actually just walking past the item, you know, not asking prices and anything because then it would just be browsing or researching i guess.
